The Tinker

Who is the mysterious man who arrives every year at the picturesque Cotswold village of Drayburn? What is his dark secret?

In another gripping thriller Alan Reynolds creates intrigue and finger-biting excitement as we follow Michael, the itinerant worker who has returned to the village church for the past six summers applying his skills for the benefit of the local people. He is taken in by the vicar and his wife paying his way by doing odd jobs and maintenance in the medieval church of St James. His enigmatic persona attracts female attention who are only too keen to make the most of his many talents but there are those from his past that would do him harm. His very survival depends on him keeping his secret.

This year it will be different.

"You're a difficult man to love, Michael"
